Korean Beef Bowls
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for a few minutes until well combined.
Serve over cooked rice and top with shredded carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.
